Virtual Networking with Kevin Lao

Return to Event

Join ’07 Mike Ilitch School of Business alumnus, Kevin Lao, as he leads you through an interactive discussion focused on career search, building a network in-person or remotely, as well as simple steps you can take to successfully network in a virtual environment.

After learning some new tricks and tips, you will have the opportunity to practice your skills and connect with fellow alumni as we separate into breakout rooms.

You won't want to miss this opportunity to hone your skills and expand your alumni network.

“It’s 2021. Showing up is easy. We’re living in the age of accessibility, and with one click, you can meet people from all over the world. And while this presents enormous opportunities “to get a foot in the door” and establish a connection you would have otherwise never had, this also presents a massive responsibility to actually deliver on what you say, and do the work in following up on every interaction, regardless of how small or brief the encounter was.” – Kevin Lao
