Join SIS Diversity Outreach GSA Selena Aguilera to learn more about great funding opportunities available to students in the School of Information Sciences for Fall 2022 and Winter 2023. The meeting will cover the following scholarships and assistantships.
- Wayne State’s Graduate Professional Scholarship pays full fall and winter tuition, and 30 percent of applicants are awarded it. Applications open December 1 and will be accepted through March 1.
- WSU School of Information Sciences scholarships. Open to certificate-only students as well. Deadline March 1.
- Wayne State has numerous WSU Private Scholarships available to SIS students for varying amounts and a wide variety of criteria. Applications are currently open. Deadline March 1.
- American Library Association Scholarships are open to all applicants who have applied for MLIS admission. The American Library Association has general scholarships, scholarships for students from underrepresented groups, scholarships for library support staff, and scholarships for specialty or practice areas. The deadline is March 1.
