Back to the Future with Wayne Law

Return to Event

The history of Wayne Law is rich and fascinating. Join us as we talk about the past, present and future of the Law School with Professor Alan Schenk and Dean Richard A. Bierschbach.

Professor Schenk recently completed a book on the history of Wayne Law and will present a brief overview including how the Law School originated as a night school, almost closed during the Great Depression and World War II, expanded access to legal education, and became the second-highest ranked Law School in the state of Michigan. Dean Richard Bierschbach will then discuss his vision for the future of Wayne Law.

Join fellow Wayne Law alumni from across the country for a digital discussion and register today!

Current Wayne Law students, faculty and staff are also invited to participate.
