Matthew W. Seeger, is a Professor of Communication at Wayne State University where he studies crisis and risk communication, health promotion and communication, and crisis response. He has worked with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on crisis communication for more than a decade and is a member of the World Health Organization Guidelines Development Group for Emergency Risk Communication. He is the author of over 200 articles and 10 books.
