Love biking and raising money for Environmental Science and Geology Field Trips? Come spend a fun day at Belle Isle for the 100-mile bike ride followed by an after party at the Detroit Yacht Club! Whether you come for the entire bike ride, part of the time, or just the after party, we'd love to see you. Everyone is welcome to participate at any level.
Support the ESG department's commitment to funding field education and research for our students. Gifts will ensure that all students will have field education and research experience, regardless of their ability to pay. You can contribute to this cause by making a donation here.
We’ll gather at Sunset Point on the south point of Belle Isle to start and through the duration of the race. Following the race, the group will convene at the Detroit Yacht Club.
Date: Saturday, October 19th
Time: 6am-2pm with the after party beginning at 3pm
Location: Start and gather location for the ride is Sunset Point with the after party taking place at the Detroit Yacht Club
Snacks and water will be provided, however, we encourage you to bring additional items as you see fit and dress for the weather! Additional details will be shared as the event date gets closer.
