Faculty and staff from Wayne State University and American University of Ras Al Khaimah are invited to attend an introductory webinar presented by the SUNY COIL Center. This presentation is part of a grant awarded to WSU by the U.S. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates. 

 

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) helps students develop cross-cultural communication skills and a greater appreciation for diverse viewpoints through online team-based project work embedded into their course. Faculty from any discipline can add a COIL collaboration to their course.  This Introduction to COIL webinar will introduce COIL pedagogy and logistics, including examples of COIL collaborations from different disciplines.  Following the introduction, we will have time for questions and discussion.

 

This webinar will focus on faculty teaching in the humanities and general education, but all are welcome to attend.
