MedFlix: How to Survive a Plague

Return to Event

MedFlix Movies in Medical Education, in collaboration with LGBT+ People in Medicine, invites all students, faculty, staff and alumni to a screening of “How to Survive a Plague” from 5 to 7 p.m. July 6  in the Margherio Family Conference Center.

The  2012 David France documentary provides an insider’s account of a pivotal moment in the early years of the AIDS epidemic, and the work activist groups did to ensure American civil rights.

The screening coincides with our welcoming the Class of 2025 during Orientation Week, and offers our new students as well as the entire School of Medicine community an opportunity to view and discuss a film with themes relevant to future physicians and health care.
