MSW Day is an opportunity to learn about the MSW Program at Wayne State University. MSW Day is divided into two parts, an information session and deep-dive into program options and career options. Prospective and current students may attend one or both sessions.
MSW PROGRAM APPLICATION and INFORMATIONAL SESSION from 4:30 - 5:30 pm on Zoom
- Join us for a discussion of the application process, overview of core curriculum, the practicum/internship experience, and licensing process.
- Who should attend: Prospective MSW students are strongly encouraged to attend this session prior to applying to the MSW Program.
MSW CONCENTRATIONS and CURRICULUM SESSION: 5:30 - 7:00 pm on Zoom
- Join us for a discussion of the Interpersonal Practice (IP) and Innovation in Community, Policy, and Leadership (I-CPL) concentrations in the advanced year of the MSW program. Additionally, we will have Wayne State MSW alumni on hand for a panel discussion of MSW career paths.
- Who should attend: Prospective and current students who want to learn more about the advanced year concentrations and curriculum within those concentrations.
