Join faculty, staff, students, and community members for this special Reader’s Theater and discussion centered around the book Untold Stories: Life, Love, and Reproduction edited by Kate Cockrill, Lucia Leandro Gimeno, and Steph Herold.
Untold Stories: Life, Love, and Reproduction presents a wide range of reproductive experiences that are rarely explored together in one place. The authors share their most vulnerable experiences with emotional honesty, self-awareness, and sometimes humor. The multiple perspectives challenge stereotypes about people whose reproductive decisions and experiences fall outside of the dominant story of pregnancy and parenting.
Intimate and accessible, Untold Stories: Life, Love, and Reproduction invites us to join in a circle of sharing that is safe and affirming. Through read-alouds and discussion, participants will be part of ending shame and isolation while helping to expand a more inclusive and compassionate understanding of family.
