Supreme Court Swearing-In Ceremony Interest Form

Return to Event

Wayne Law is pleased to provide an opportunity for alumni to apply for admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. Our next group admission ceremony will take place on October 15, 2019. Alumni who have been practicing members of the highest court of a U.S. state for a minimum period of three years (immediately before the date of application) and have not been the subject of any adverse disciplinary action pronounced or in effect during that 3-year period, and appear to the Court to be of good moral and professional character, are eligible to apply.

If interested, please complete the interest form by Monday, August 5, 2019. Wayne Law has the ability to present 12 individuals each two-year period. Selection criteria are at the discretion of the dean. Selections will be made by August 15, 2019. If selected, you will be notified and required to complete an application. A completed application includes the Bar Application, Endorsements, Certificate of Good Standing, and a check (post-dated for the day of admission) for $200.

Each selected participant may bring one guest into the Supreme Court to witness the swearing-in. Participating alumni will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.
