Virtual Planetarium Show: History of Astronomy, Part I

Return to Event

Please join us for a virtual planetarium show! We are using Zoom to host a live planetarium show about the early history of astronomy. Ethan, our presenter, will highlight and explain key astronomical discoveries throughout human history, from ancient observations of planetary motion up until Galileo's use of the telescope in the 17th century. Next month in Part II, we'll continue our discussion up to the present day!

At the end of the show we'll give you the link to a half-hour long astronomical movie which you can watch at the time of the show, or save for another day. RSVP here and you'll receive an e-mail with the Zoom link.

This show is also being offered on April 11th at 1pm.
